Loom & Drift: Finding brilliance beneath the scars. Each piece is a unique dialogue between nature and time

Light that carries stories. Handcrafted from reclaimed wood and antique porcelain

About Loom & Drift

About Loom & Drift

We believe that true luxury lies not in perfection, but in the stories that only time can tell.Loom & Drift was born from a simple observation: the most beautiful objects are often those that have been touched by age, weather, and human hands. A crack in a ceramic bowl. The charred surface of lightning-struck wood. The worn patina of a century-old scale beam. These are not flaws — they are signatures of life.

The Philosophy: Light Within Scars

Every piece we create begins with a found object — a fragment of the past that has been discarded or forgotten. An ox yoke from a 1970s farm. A blue-and-white porcelain bowl from the Republic era. A piece of wood that once stood tall in a forest, struck by lightning, left for dead.

We do not erase their histories. We honor them. We transform these time-worn materials into sculptural lighting and contemplative art, allowing their original textures, cracks, and carbonized marks to become the focal point. The light that emerges from within them becomes a metaphor: <strong>even the most scarred things can glow

Our Process: Slow, Handcrafted, One-of-a-Kind

We work from a small studio, combining traditional hand tools with a deep respect for materials. Each piece is designed, assembled, and finished by hand. No two are identical — and they are never meant to be.

We source our materials from old farmhouses, antique markets, and fallen trees. We use reclaimed wood, vintage ceramics, hand-forged nails, and natural rattan. The result is a collection of functional sculptures that invite you to pause, to touch, and to reflect.

 Why Loom &amp; Drift?

the quiet emergence of beauty from humble materials.
the journey of objects across time, from past to present, from forgotten to cherished.

We create for those who seek more than decoration. For those who understand that a home is a collection of stories, and that the objects we choose to live with shape our inner world.

Welcome to our story. We hope our work finds a meaningful place in yours.
